Simon Dolan ATII, ATT - MANAGING DIRECTOR
Simon Dolan started the firm in 1992. He is responsible for the smooth running of the firm and for ensuring that all Partners and staff work to the highest standards in providing first class client service. In his 14 years in practice Simon has acquired a formidable range of expertise and experience. His client portfolio includes a number of companies and professional firms who he advises on a wide range of commercial issues.

Darryl Keyte Bcompt (Hons) SA - REGIONAL DIRECTOR
Darryl is an experienced accountant, having qualified in South Africa. He has worked with small and medium sized Companies providing accountancy and tax advice and has also worked extensively in the field of forensic accounting. Graeme Bennett ACMA, MBA - REGIONAL DIRECTOR
Our north of England offices are headed up by Graeme Bennett. Graeme is a very experienced Accountant who spent a number of years with Rolls Royce before entering practice to specialise in providing tax and accountancy services to smaller businesses.

Christian Hickmott– REGIONAL DIRECTOR (South West)
Christian joined SJD Accountancy in 2008 as a senior accountant. He has extensive knowledge in not only the IT Contractor market but in all areas of Contracting and Freelancing. Due to this strong knowledge and detailed understanding of the stresses and strains on going limited that our clients face, he fast became a valuable asset and was promoted to Regional Director early in 2010.
Jane Peppiatt FCCA BA (Hons) - REGIONAL DIRECTOR
The SJD (South) team is headed up by Jane Peppiatt who has over 20 year’s experience in Industry, Consultancy and Banking. Having been a systems implementation contractor herself Jane has first-hand experience of the particular needs of Contractors.
Diptesh Patel – REGIONAL MANAGER (LONDON)
Diptesh joined SJD in 2007 and has specialised in the contractor and freelance industry since moving into practice in 1997.
As well as advising contractor and consultancy professionals over the years Diptesh has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the IT industry. His portfolio of clients has included IT recruitment agencies and umbrella companies giving him a full in depth understanding of the contracting market place.
During his years in practice Diptesh has seen many changes in the contracting industry including the introduction of IR35 (2000) and the MSC legislation (2007) and is very well placed to advise clients on these subjects.

Claire Johnson - REGIONAL DIRECTOR
Claire, leads the Central team and has a wealth of experience having been working for SJD for over eight years. As well as clients who are contractors and freelancers, Claire has a number of clients who are owner managed businesses and SME’s. Due to the high number of client referrals Claire’s team has more than trebled since 2002.

Louise Bowman - DIRECTOR OF SMALL BUSINESS SERVICES
Louise began her career working for one of the big four accountancy firms and now heads the SME and sole trader team in SJD’s Hemel Hempstead head office. Louise is an experienced, technical and knowledgeable accountant and brings a vast wealth of experience with a strong background in growth planning, strategy management and of course accounting.
Louise’s primary focus is on continuing to provide outstanding accounting and tax services to SJD’s small to medium sized businesses. Essentially this means Louise spends most of her time meeting her clients, helping them to increase profitability and to grow to the next level.

Dan Moss– REGIONAL DIRECTOR (Scotland)
With over ten years of working practice, Dan is qualified in both AAT and ACCA and is continually upgrading his skills. Dan joined SJD Accountancy in November 2007 as senior accountant with a wealth of knowledge. One of Dan’s strongest message’s echoed to other team members is “building great relationships with clients is key to helping them achieve their goals”.

Having worked previously with companies such as BMW and Audi creating and implementing customer satisfaction programmes, Charmaine brings over 14 years of knowledge with specialist skills in: Customer Experience Management, Customer Satisfaction programmes, Customer Contact Management, CRM, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma and Project Management. Charmaine has first hand experience on what it takes to maintain a strong customer service support.
