Simon Dolan ATII, ATT - MANAGING DIRECTOR
 
Simon Dolan started the firm in 1992. He is responsible for the smooth running of the firm and for ensuring that all Partners and staff work to the highest standards in providing first class client service. In his 19 years in practice Simon has acquired a formidable range of expertise and experience. His client portfolio includes a number of companies and professional firms who he advises on a wide range of commercial issues.

Richard_Birmingham
Richard Ingledew MAAT - REGIONAL DIRECTOR (Birmingham)
 
Richard joined SJD Accountancy in 2006 as an experienced accountant, he was then promoted to Head of Accounts in December 2007 before becoming Regional Director in 2011. Richard has worked with contractors since 2001 and has a wealth of experience in the challenges and stresses that face contractors and freelancers.

Damian O’Connor ACA MA - REGIONAL DIRECTOR (North West)
 
Damian has extensive experience dealing with businesses of all sizes, having qualified in London specialising in providing accounting and taxation advice to small and medium sized Companies, before moving to a Senior Accountant role at one of the Big 4 accountancy firms. Prior to joining SJD, Damian was Financial Controller for 10 Companies and gained significant international experience in running businesses of various sizes.

Maria Williams
Maria Williams ACCA - REGIONAL DIRECTOR (South West)
 
Maria joined SJD Accountancy in 2008 as an experienced accountant. Due to her extensive knowledge in tax and Money Laundering, Maria was appointed sole Money Laundering Reporting Officer in 2010. Her approachable attitude towards providing ongoing accountancy advice and support to her clients shone through and Maria was promoted to south west Regional Director in 2011.

Jane Peppiatt
Jane Peppiatt FCCA BA (Hons) - REGIONAL DIRECTOR (South)
 
The SJD (South) team is headed up by Jane Peppiatt who has over 20 year’s experience in Industry, Consultancy and Banking. Having been a systems implementation contractor herself Jane has first-hand experience of the particular needs of Contractors.

Christian Hickmott
Christian Hickmott - REGIONAL DIRECTOR (London)
 
Christian joined SJD Accountancy in 2008 as a senior accountant. He has extensive knowledge in not only the IT Contractor market but in all areas of contracting and freelancing. Due to this strong knowledge and detailed understanding of the stresses and strains on going limited that our clients face, he fast became a valuable asset and was originally promoted to south west Regional Director early in 2010 before becoming Regional Director for SJD’s London region in 2011.

Georgie Eykel ATT – Regional Director (Central)
 
PCG Accredited, Georgie joined SJD Accountancy in 2004 working within the Central team where she was quickly promoted to Accountant. With over seven years experience in supporting and providing tax advice to Limited Company Contractors, Georgie was promoted to joint Regional Director of the Central Team in 2011.

Julia Parker – Regional Director (Central)
 
Julia has over 11 years accounting experience and a wealth of knowledge within the contractor, freelancer and SME sector. Julia originally joined SJD as payroll manager before stepping into the Central team as Accountant. Since then Julia has developed a wealth of knowledge thoroughly understanding the needs of contractors and in 2011 was promoted to joint Regional Director of the Central team.

Nicola Hazzel
Nicola Hazell ACCA - DIRECTOR OF SMALL BUSINESS SERVICES
 
Nicola joined SJD Accountancy in 2006 as senior accountant for the central team. With over eight years accountancy experience in both industry and practice, Nicola has a wealth of knowledge and a strong understanding of what support is needed for small to medium sized businesses. Nicola was promoted to Regional Director in 2011.

Dan Moss
Daniel Moss - REGIONAL DIRECTOR (Scotland)
 
Daniel has over ten years of working practice experience and is extremely knowledgeable within the Contracting, Freelancing and SME sectors. Dan joined SJD Accountancy in November 2007 as Senior Accountant. One of Dan’s core strengths is building great relationships with clients to help them achieve their goals and is one of the major reasons that he was promoted to Regional Director.

Michael Harle
Michael Harle ACCA - REGIONAL DIRECTOR (North)
 
Michael joined SJD in 2008 having spent the previous 12 years working in private practice in the North East. He has worked extensively with small companies and has brought his extensive knowledge of contracting and freelancing to SJD. Michael understands the SJD ethic and philosophy of working hard for our clients and has a thorough commitment to service and was promoted to Regional Director in early 2011.

Claire Canadas
Claire Johnson - Practice Development Director
 
With over 12 years of accountancy experience Claire has gone from Accountant to Regional Director. After 7 years heading up the Central team, Claire was promoted to Practice Development Director in 2011. Claire brings a huge amount of Contractor knowledge and experience from her 12 years of regional development and accountant management. In this specialist position Claire is responsible for the cross-business development of practice initiatives with the aim to enhance and maximise the SJD Accountancy client experience.

Charmaine Vallance–Poole - CUSTOMER SERVICES DIRECTOR
 
Having worked previously with companies such as BMW and Audi creating and implementing customer satisfaction programmes, Charmaine brings over 14 years of knowledge with specialist skills in: Customer Experience Management, Customer Satisfaction programmes, Customer Contact Management, CRM, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma and Project Management. Charmaine has first hand experience on what it takes to maintain a strong customer service support.

Antony Edwards MBA BA MIC - International Business Director
