Parents continue to support graduates after university
A new report has found that 58% of graduates continue to rely on financial report from their parents after finishing university.
The survey, which was conducted by The Survey Shop, also revealed that 40% of students who graduated in 2002 do not make any form of regular savings.
Furthermore, 49% are failing to pay into a pension fund.
Graduates across a range of different locations and professions were said to be dissatisfied with their finances.
The most important factors influencing job satisfaction were identified as work/life balance, followed by training and promotion opportunities.
The study follows a recent report which warned that parents' retirement savings are being placed at risk by adult children in their 20s and 30s who continue to live in the family home.
