Comic Relief appeals to UK workforce to 'Go Large'

Organisers are hoping that individuals and businesses across the UK will join them today in a bid to raise money for good causes.

The ’Red Nose’ website features news and fundraising ideas. This year Comic Relief is asking workers to have a ‘Big Hair Day’. The website has so far received over 15 million visits.

Online donations have been made straightforward with the use of a system that can deal with 200 transactions per second.

£3.6 million was raised via the website during last year’s appeal, and organisers hope to add to the £250 million that has been generated by Comic Relief over the last 18 years.
