For the many contractors who find themselves having to work online while on move, further 4G developments across the UK could make life a lot easier.
The latest announcement from Everything Everywhere (EE) has confirmed that 4G will be installed in a number of cities and towns across the UK over the summer, which will improve online connectivity up and down the country.
Chief executive officer at EE, Olaf Swantee, said, “We’re investing £1.5 billion in our network to be the first company to offer mobile 4G in the UK, alongside the biggest 3G network.
“Combined with our fibre broadband and revolutionary service model we have a pioneering and unique offer to customers across the UK – superfast speeds in the home, superfast speeds on the move and expert service on nearly every high street in Britain.
“We’re set to cover more than half of the UK population by summer, staying ahead of the schedule that we set for ourselves at launch, and continuing to demonstrate the amazing value of 4G mobile to many organisations with different challenges and different needs.”
Limited company contractors and freelancers who find themselves working online whilst ‘on the go’ will most definitely be among those to benefit from the installation of 4G technology.
The 27 towns and cities to be covered by EE includes: Aldershot, Ashford, Basildon, Basingstoke, Blackpool, Bracknell, Camberley, Colchester, Crawley, Farnborough, Guildford, Horsham, Huddersfield, Leatherhead, Maidstone, Milton Keynes, Oldham, Oxford, Redhill, Reigate, Sevenoaks, Stevenage, Tonbridge, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Warrington, Wigan and Woking.
