A recent survey from a leading IT recruiter has revealed great news for IT contractors, as hiring confidence is on the rise among IT employers.
The report, carried out by Outsource UK, who specialise in placements for IT personnel, showed that there has been a significant rise in both permanent and contractor roles within the past few months.
The Outsource UK’s Managing Director, Paul Jameson, said, “I believe the economy is now improving after a difficult five years, and we are seeing the first sustained period of a positive jobs market. With offices in Swindon, Manchester, Stoke-on-Trent and London, we can really have an overview of the national picture.
“We have recently welcomed two new branch managers, plus four apprentices, and we are now able to focus on a strategy for growth. We feel cautiously confident that hopes for an improvement in the jobs market are finally becoming a reality.”
Outsource sales manager Sean Walsh, who is based in Swindon, added that there has been a noticeable rise in opportunities within the local region. He said, “Our clients are feeling more confident about hiring and it has been a positive few months.
“As always, good people are still hard to find, and we advise our clients to make sure they move quickly to secure the right talent.”
