Institute of Interim Management

The Institute of Interim Management is the UK’s professional Institute for Interim Managers and Interim Executives.

Established in 2001, it operates as an independent not-for-profit Institute, run by Interim Managers, for Interim Managers. Not only does it provide benefits to its own members, who carry the post-nominals AIIM and MIIM (accredited Associates and Members of the IIM), but it also supports and promotes the whole of the Interim Management profession by way of its nationwide events, significant online presence, strong relationships with leading Interim Management recruiters and service providers, and leading providers of Interim services, including SJD Accountancy.

Leading Interim Management Service Providers

The Institute of Interim Management promotes ‘leading’ Interim Management recruiters (known in the trade as ‘Service Providers’) via it's annual independent survey, and publishes its annual list of ‘Leading Service Providers’.

Those Service Providers include specialist Interim Management agencies, mainstream recruiters and Executive Search firms who have Interim Management practices. Outstanding smaller ‘boutique’ Interim Providers are identified as market-leading Interim businesses, some of whom are members of the Interim Management Association (IMA) which is an Association of many (though certainly not all) of the UK’s leading Interim Management Service Providers.

For potential clients and Interim Managers alike, the IIM seeks to provide independent and up-to-date information about who to contact when there is a business issue or opportunity that can be best served by use of an Interim Management solution.
